Procedure
A suspension of methyl N-cyano-4-{[(3,4-dichloro-5-methyl-1H-pyrrol-2-yl)carbonyl]amino}piperidine-1-carbimidothioate (Intermediate 91, 1.78 g, 4.8 mmol) and methyl mercaptoacetate (0.43 ml, 4.8 mmol) with TEA (1.2 ml, 8.6 mmol) in MeOH was stirred at room temperature overnight. Reaction mixture was concentrated to 50% volume, the precipitate was filtered off and the solid was washed with MeOH and dried.
