The procedure described in Example 1(b) is repeated, except that 223 g (1 mol) of 3,3-dimethyl-12-ethyl-1-aza-cyclododecene, 82 g (0.5 mol) of hydroxylamine sulfate, 150 g of sulfuric acid and 400 ml of water are used. Distillation yields 245 g (0.955 mol) of 2,2-dimethyl-11-ethyl-11-amino-undecanal oxime; yield 95.5% of theory; boiling point 155°-160° C./7 Pa.
