Procedure
204 mg of the (t-butyl(1S,4S)-5-(trifluoroacetyl)-2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane-2-carboxylate [151-1] was dissolved in 3 mL of chloroform, then 3 mL of trifluoroacetic acid was added thereto, and stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The reaction solution was concentrated under reduced pressure, the obtained residue was dissolved in methanol, and the trifluoroacetic acid was removed through a weak anion-exchange resin. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure, and 156 mg of (1S,4S)-2-(trifluoroacetyl)-2,5-diazabicyclo[2.2.1]heptane [151-2] was obtained as a brown oily product.
