Procedure
50 mg of the t-butyl((1S)-1-{4-[1-(trifluoroacetyl)-1,2,3,6-tetrahydropyridin-4-yl]phenyl}ethyl)carbamate [154-3] was dissolved in 3 mL of tetrahydrofuran, then a catalytic amount of 10% palladiumcarbon catalyst was added thereto, and stirred at room temperature for 1 hour in a hydrogen atmosphere. The insolubles were filtered through celite, the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure, and 53.3 mg of t-butyl((1S)-1-{4-[1-(trifluoroacetyl)piperidin-4-yl]phenyl}ethyl)carbamate [155-1] was obtained as a white solid.
