The title compound was prepared as a white solid in 32% yield (38 mg) from 1,1-dimethylethyl 6-[(dimethylamino)carbonyl]-4-hydroxy-2-methyl-1H-benzimidazole-1-carboxylate (100 mg, 0.31 mmol, STEP 2 in Example 9) and 8-fluoro-5-methylchroman-4-ol (0.23 g, 1.2 mmol, STEP 1-3) by the same manner in STEP 3-2 of Example 9.
