Procedure
A mixture of 6,7,8-trichloroimidazo[1,2-b]pyridazine (0.04 g, 0.18 mmol) from 1d, p-ethoxyaniline (0.025 g, 0.18 mmol) and triethylamine (0.055 mL, 0.4 mmol) were suspended in EtOH (1.0 mL) and heated to 90° C. for 2.5 hours. The reaction mixture was then cooled to room temperature and concentrated in vacuo to provide crude 6,7-dichloro-N-(4-ethoxyphenyl)imidazo[1,2-b]pyridazin-8-amine (0.05 g, 86%).
