Procedure

27 mg (0.10 mmol) of 2-chloro-N1-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-4-ylbenzene-1,4-diamine and 24 mg (0.15 mmol) of 4,6-dichloropyrimidine-2-amine are suspended in 5 ml of water. 0.14 ml of 1 M hydrochloric acid are added, and the mixture is heated at 100° C. overnight. Using 1N aqueous sodium hydroxide solution, the suspension is then adjusted to pH 10, resulting in the precipitation of crystals. The solid is filtered off and washed with water. The crude product is purified by preparative HPLC.
