To a solution of 52 (14 mg, 0.019 mmol) in dioxane/H2O 1:1: (4 mL) was added 1 M LiOH (115 μL, 0.115 mmol). The solution was stirred for 24 h at room temperature. Thereafter an additional portion of LiOH (75 μL, 0.075 mmol) was added and the solution was stirred for another 24 h. After acidification to approximately pH 3 with 1 M HCl and co-evaporation with toluene the residue was purified by HPLC (MeOH/H2O 70:30 with 0.2% TFA) yielding 53 (8 mg, 60%) as a colorless solid.
