Procedure

N-(3-(7-chloro-1,2-dihydro-1-methyl-2-oxo-1,6-naphthyridin-3-yl)-4-methylphenyl)benzamide A6 (45 mg, 0.11 mmol) is dissolved in NMP (1 mL) and treated with dimethyl amine (0.56 mL of a 2.0 M solution in methanol). The reaction mixture is heated to 100° C. for 12 h. Upon cooling to rt, the reaction is purified by preparative LCMS. 1H NMR 400 MHz (DMSO-d6) δ 10.23 (s, 1H), 8.51 (s, 1H), 7.97-7.94 (m, 2H), 7.78 (s, 1H), 7.68-7.66 (m, 2H), 7.61-7.51 (m, 3H), 7.23 (d, J=9 Hz, 1H), 6.37 (s, 1H), 3.61 (s, 3H), 3.20 (s, 6H), 2.12 (s, 3H); MS m/z 413.2 (M+1).
