Procedure
A solution of 45.4 in THF/MeOH (1:1, 2 mL), is treated with 2N NaOH aqueous solution (1 mL) and stirred for overnight at room temperature. The reaction mixture is acidified with aqueous 2N HCl and extracted with EtOAc to obtain 45, which is purified by preparative HPLC, eluting with 5-95% ACN in water containing 0.1% TFA.
