Reaction Steps
A mixture of 5-(3-fluoro-4-methanesulfonyl-phenyl)-4-methyl-thiazol-2-ylamine (0.40 g, 1.4 mmol) and ethyl isocyanate (0.121 ml, 1.5 mmol) in dry DMF (3 ml) is heated at 85° C. for 1 hour. The solvent is removed and the product is purified by chromatography on silica eluting with hexane—ethyl acetate (1:1) to give the title compound.
