Stir a solution of 1-isopropylsulfonyl-2-amino-6-(1-(4-(N-[tert-butoxycarbonyl]amino)cyclohex-1-yl)-4-(phenyl)-imidazol-5-yl)-benzimidazole (0.14 g, 0.2 mmol) in 1 M hydrogen chloride in acetic acid (5 mL) at room temperature for 1 hour. Filter the suspension and dry the solid to provide 0.017 g (15%) of the title compound. MS(ES+): m/z=479.0 (M+H)+
