2.8 g (10 millimoles) of 6-3-chloropropionyl)-1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-1,1,4,4-tetramethylnaphthalene (for preparation see Example 9) and 1.5 g (10 millimoles) of 4-hydrazinobenzoic acid in 40 ml of dimethylformamide was stirred until the reaction was complete (check by thin-layer chromatography). The mixture was poured onto water and the resulting crystals were filtered off under suction and washed with water and ethanol. Drying gave 2.2 g of the title compound of melting point 276°-278° C.
