1.8 g of 2-aminopyrimidine and 5.6 g of methyl p-toluenesulfonate were fed into a 200 ml three-necked flask and the mixture was stirred under heating on an oil bath at 120° C. for 3 hours. The reaction mixture was cooled to 60° C., to which 100 ml of acetone was added and the resultant mixture was stirred at room temperature for 1 hour. The crystals thus formed were suction-filtered, washed with acetone and dried at room temperature under reduced pressure.
