A solution of 4-({3-[2-(tert-butoxycarbonyl-pyridin-4-yl-amino)-ethoxy]-5-chloro-benzoyl}-cyclopentyl-amino)-butyric acid (0.015 g) in trifluoroacetic acid (3 ml) was stored at room temperature for 2 h and then the solvent removed under reduced pressure. The residue was purified by preparative hplc to give title compound (0.09 g) as a colourless gum.
