Procedure

A solution of {2-[3-chloro-5-(isopropyl-methyl-carbamoyl)-phenoxy]-ethyl}-pyridin-4-yl-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (0.060 g) in dichloromethane (4 ml) and trifluoroacetic acid (4 ml) was stored at room temperature for 2 h and then concentrated under reduced pressure. The residue was subjected to preparative hplc to give the title compound as a yellow gum (0.061 g).

Workup

  1. concentrationconcentrated under reduced pressure
