To a solution of (2-{3-chloro-5-[isopropyl-(2-[1,2,4]triazol-1-yl-ethyl)-carbamoyl]-phenoxy}-ethyl)-pyridin-4-yl-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (0.097 g) in dichloromethane (5 ml) was added trifluoroacetic acid (2 ml) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 3 h. The solvent was evaporated under reduced pressure and the residue subjected to preparative hplc to give the title compound (0.093 g) as a clear oil.
