Reaction Steps
Starting from 7-methoxy-2-methoxymethylbenzofuran-4-carboxylic acid (0.15 g) and 2-ethyl-2H-pyrazol-3-ylamine (85 mg). Purification by column chromatography on silica eluting with 50% ethyl acetate in heptane increasing to ethyl acetate afforded the title compound as a yellow solid (35 mg).
