Reaction Steps

A solution of tert-butyl(6-(4-sulfamoylphenoxy)hexyl)carbamate (1.178 g, 3.16 mmol) in TFA (5.0 mL) and DCM (5.0 mL) was stirred at rt for overnight. After the solvent was evaporated under a steam of N2, the reaction mixture was dissolved in water (5.0 mL) and acetonitrile (5.0 mL) and lyophilized to afford 4-((6-aminohexyl)oxy)benzenesulfonamide (1.664 g) containing TFA. MS (ESI), 273.1 (M+H)+.
