1 (0.33 g, 1.5 mmol), TEA (0.209 mL, 1.5 mmol) and naphtylmethylbromide (0.332 g, 1.5 mmol) were dissolved in 10 mL of EtOH and kept under reflux overnight. The solvent was removed and the remaining oil was purified by flash-chromatography on silica gel, applying a CHCl3/MeOH gradient.
