A mixture of 6-fluoro-1-(phenylsulfonyl)-3-(1-(piperidin-4-ylmethyl)-1H-pyrazol-4-yl)-1H-indole (Intermediate 21; 277 mg; 0.63 mmol), Et3N (0.40 mL; 2.87 mmol) and 2,2,2-trifluoroethyl trifluoromethanesulfonate (147 mg; 0.63 mmol) in toluene (40 mL) was stirred at 80° C. overnight. The reaction mixture was concentrated and purified by reverse phase flash chromatography to afford 275 mg (84%) of the title compound as a yellow oil.
