Reaction Steps
2-(3-Amino-1,2,4-triazin-6-yl)thiazole-5-carbonitrile (30 mg, 0.15 mmol) was dissolved in 1 mL of bromoform and heated to 90° C. Isoamyl nitrite (88 mg, 0.75 mmol) was added and stirred at 90° C. for 2 h. The reaction mixture was then concentrated and used directly in the next reaction.
