Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared from methyl 2-chloropyridine-4-carboxylate and 4-(tributylstannyl)-1-tritylimidazole according to the procedure for Example 1. 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ 3.92 (3H, s), 7.16 (5H, m), 7.38-7.46 (11H, m), 7.60 (1H, d, J=1.3 Hz), 7.64 (1H, dd, J=1.6 Hz and 5.0 Hz), 8.32 (1H, s), 8.64 (1H, d, 5.0 Hz).
