BOP (3.53 g, 8 mmol) is added to a solution of adamantan-1-yl-methylamine (1.32 g, 8 mmol), 3-methyl-1H-pyrazole-4-carboxylic acid (1 g, 7 mmol) and DIEA (2.6 g, 20 mmol) in DCM (25 mL). The solution is stirred overnight and evaporated, and then partitioned between EtOAc and saturated aqueous sodium bicarbonate. The organic layer is washed with brine, dried and evaporated. The residue is triturated with DCM and air-dried to give the title compound.
