Procedure
To a 10-20 mL microwave irradiation vial equipped with a stir bar was added compound 11 (0.35 g, 0.81 mmol) in DCE (13 mL). The reaction was irradiated with stirring at 180° C. for 180 min until complete by TLC (AcOEt/n-hexane 0.5:9.5). The solution turned golden in color. The mixture was then transferred to a vial, concentrated under reduced pressure, and dried under vacuum to yield the title compound as a brown oil (0.34 g, 97% yield).
