Using 2-methylpyrazolo[1,5-a]pyridine-3-carbothioamide hydrochloride (400 mg, 1.8 mmol) produced in Example 11-B(v), ethyl 2-chloro-3-oxo-3-(tetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)propanoate (1.0 g, 4.3 mmol) produced above and 2-propanol (40 mL) as starting materials and in the same manner as in Example 11-B(vi), the title compound (530 mg, 81%) was obtained as a yellow solid.
