According to general procedure B, from #5 (1.62 g, 2.79 mmol, 1 eq.), dichloromethane (10 mL, 0.3 M) and trifluoroacetic acid (3 mL) was synthesized #@5 (1.42 g, 97%) as a solid which was used without further purification. LC-MS m/z 525.3 [M+H+] 547.3 [M+Na+] retention time=0.95 minute; 1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6), characteristic signals: δ 7.89 (d, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 7.71 (d, J=7.4 Hz, 2H), 7.59 (d, J=8.8 Hz, 1H), 7.41 (dd, J=7.6, 7.4 Hz, 2H), 7.28-7.34 (m, 2H), 4.14-4.32 (m, 4H), 3.24 (s, 3H), 2.92 (br s, 3H), 2.51-2.57 (m, 1H, assumed; partially obscured by solvent peak), 2.20 (dd, J=15.9, 9.5 Hz, 1H), 1.95-2.06 (m, 1H), 1.70-1.83 (br m, 1H), 1.22-1.36 (br m, 1H), 0.84-0.93 (m, 9H), 0.70 (t, J=7.3 Hz, 3H).
