Procedure
A hydrochloric acid/methanol solution (30 ml) was added to 6-methoxy-4-(2-methyl-quinolin-3-yloxy)-7-(2-morpholin-4-yl-ethoxy)-quinoline (compound 365) (748 mg), and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for one hr. The solvent was removed by distillation under the reduced pressure to give the title compound (900 mg, yield 59%).
