Reaction Steps
Combine 3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxythiophenol (751 mg), diethylazodicarboxylate (496μL, 3.15 mmol) and p-dioxane (5 mL). Place under an argon atmosphere and stir for 2 hours to give a complex of 3,5-di-t-butyl-4-hydroxythiophenol and diethyl azodicarboxylate.
