0.03 mol of 1-[(5-fluoro-2,3-dihydrobenzofur-2-yl)carbonyl]-4-benzylpiperazine (resulting from the condensation of 5-fluoro-2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-2-carboxylic acid with N-benzylpiperazine) is dissolved in 150 ml of anhydrous tetrahydrofuran (T.H.F.). Two times 0.03 mol of lithium aluminum hydride are added in the form of pellets. The mixture is stirred at room temperature. The title compound is obtained.
