The title compound was prepared from 6-(7-chloro-thieno[3,2-b]pyridin-2-yl)-pyridine-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester and 2-methyl-5-aminoindole by the procedure analogous to example 148(c) above. 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD) δ8.43 (d, 1H), 8.22 (s, 1H), 8.18 (d, 1H), 8.11 (t, 1H), 8.02 (d, 1H), 7.26 (m, 2H), 6.92 (d, 1H), 6.59 (d, 1H), 6.10 (s, 1H), 3.89 (s, 3H), 2.36 (s, 3H); RP18-HPLC RT: 5.34 minutes; API MS: 415 (M+1).
