Procedure
{1-[4-(2-(tricyclo[3.3.1.13,7]dec-1-yl)acetylamino)-3-methylphenyl]-pyrrolidin-3-yl}-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (0.20 g, Example 35c) was dissolved in methanol (5 ml) and hydrochloric acid (0.5 ml of a 4N solution in dioxane) was added. After stirring at room temperature for 14 h, the mixture was evaporated to 2/3 original volume under reduced pressure. Diethyl ether was gradually added to the solution and the resulting precipitate collected by filtration, washed with diethyl ether and dried in vacuo to afford the title compound as a solid (0.15 g)
