Following the general hydrogenation procedure outlined in example 15, N-propyl-6chloro-2-hydroxy-3-nitrobenzenesulfonamide (650 mg, 2.2 mmol) was reduced with hydrogen and 10% Pd/C (320 mg) to form the desired product (560 mg, 96%). 1H NMR (MeOD-d4): δ 6.83 (m, 1H), 2.86 (t, 2H), 1.50 (m, 2H), 0.87 (t, 3H).
