To a solution of {4-[3-(trifluoromethyl)-4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-1H-indazol-1-yl]phenyl}methanol (Example 30, 1.23 g, 4.16 mmol) in dichloromethane (20 ml) under an atmosphere of argon was added triethylamine (0.75 ml, 5.4 mmol) and the mixture stirred at room temperature for 10 minutes. Methanesulfonyl chloride (0.42 ml, 5.4 mmol) was added dropwise over 5 minutes and the whole mix stirred at room temperature for 18 hours. The reaction mixture was then washed twice with water followed by saturated sodium bicarbonate. The organic layer dried over sodium sulphate and the solvent removed by rotary evaporation to give the title compound as a brown oil (1.24 g, 94%)
