Reaction Steps
The title compound was prepared by reacting 2-(4-chloro-2-methoxy-phenoxy)-4-(1-ethyl-propylamino)-6-methyl-nicotinic acid methyl ester with BBr3 in methylene chloride at rt until all starting material was consumed. Standard work-up procedure gave the title compound.
