In 10 ml of dichloromethane was dissolved 1.0 g of Compound (10). To the solution were added 911 μl of thionyl chloride and one drop of N,N-dimethylformamide. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 15 hours. The reaction solution was concentrated. The concentrate was subjected to a flash chromatography using silica gel, followed by elution with hexane-ethyl acetate (1:2) to give 985 mg of the subject Compound (13).
