Azetidin-3-ol hydrochloride (0.022 g, 0.202 mmol), 2-bromobenzo[4,5]imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidine (0.05 g, 0.202 mmol) and Triethylamine (0.028 ml, 0.202 mmol) were heated to 100° C. for 10 minutes in a microwave. Let the reaction cool to room temperature. Diluted with water and vacuum filtered ppt. Washed with water to afford 1-(benzo[4,5]imidazo[1,2-a]pyrimidin-2-yl)azetidin-3-ol (0.048 g, 0.200 mmol, 99% yield).
