Procedure
A solution of 0.2 g of hydroxylamine hydrochloride and 0.25 g of sodium acetate in 2 ml of water was added to a suspension of 0.5 g of the product of Example 22 in 10 ml of ethanol and the mixture was stirred at 90° C. for 4 hours and was then filtered. The recovered product was washed with water and dried in vacuo to obtain 0.435 g of pure 4,5-dihydro-5-ethyl-4-oxo-imidazo-[1,2-a]-quinoxaline-2-carboxaldehyde oxime melting at 286°-288° C.
