This compound was prepared from ethyl 7-[(4-fluorophenyl)methyl]-4-hydroxy-2-oxo-1,2-dihydro-1,5-naphthyridine-3-carboxylate and furfurylamine employing methods similar to those described in Example 2 and was obtained as an off-white solid: 1H NMR (d6-DMSO) δ 11.85 (1H, br), 10.70 (1H, br), 8.39 (1H, br s), 7.61 (1H, s), 7.40 (1H, s), 7.31 (2H, m), 7.15 (2H, t, J=8.5 Hz), 6.42 (1H, s), 6.33 (1H, s), 4.54 (2H, s), 4.08 (2H, s); HRMS calcd for C21H16FN3O4+H+: 394.1202. Found: 394.1195.
