A mixture of (3E)-4-{trans-4-[6-(cyclopropylmethoxy)-2H-indazol-2-yl]cyclohexyl}but-3-en-2-one (2.85 g), palladium-activated carbon ethylenediamine complex (0.538 g) and ethyl acetate (100 mL) was stirred at room temperature for 15 hr under a hydrogen atmosphere. The catalyst was removed by filtration, and the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound (2.75 g).
