Procedure
PPh3 (3.3 g, 12.58 mmol) was added at rt to a solution of the 3-(2-azidopropan-2-yl)-1-(2-chlorophenyl)-5-(5-(3-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl)thiophen-2-yl)-1H-pyrazole) (3.08 g, 6.185 mmol) in a mixture of THF—H2O (6:1, 70 mL), and the resulting mixture was stirred at it under N2 for 8d. The solvent was removed in vacuo, and the residue was partitioned between water and EtOAc. The two phases were separated, and the aqueous phase was extracted with EtOAc. The combined extracts were washed with brine, dried over Na2SO4, and evaporated in vacuo. The crude product was purified by flash chromatography (0-60% 20% MeOH/DCM) to give the title compound as a light-yellow solid (2.43 g, 89%). 1HNMR (CDCl3): δ 8.04 (m, 1H), 7.83-7.80 (m, 1H), 7.73-7.71 (m, 1H), 7.56-7.41 (m, 5H), 7.19 9d, 1H), 6.72 9d, 1H), 6.63 (s, 1H), 3.07 (s, 3H), 2.43 (brs, 2H), 1.61 (s, 6H). MS(ES) 455 (M-NH2).
