Procedure
100 g of 4-piperidinecarboxylic acid and 400 ml of acetic anhydride are mixed. The mixture is brought to reflux for 2 hours and then left overnight at room temperature. The reaction medium is concentrated and the residue is ground with ethyl ether, filtered off and then washed with ethyl ether to obtain the expected compound.
