Procedure

0.027 mole of the diacid obtained in stage B is mixed in 20 ml of N,N-dimethylacetamide and the mixture is heated to 125° C. for 5 hours. It is taken up with water and extracted with ethyl ether. The ether phase is washed repeatedly several times with water and concentrated.
