5-Ethyl-2-(4-ethylamino-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-7,7-dimethyl-5,7-dihydro-1H-imidazo[4,5-f]indol-6-one was prepared using 2-(4-amino-1H-pyrazol-3-yl)-5-ethyl-7,7-dimethyl-5,7-dihydro-1H-imidazo[4,5-f]indol-6-one (100 mg, 0.32 mmol) and acetaldehyde (30 μl, 0.53 mmol). The title compound was obtained as light grey powder (23 mg).
