The title compound is prepared from 7-fluoro-4-(4,4,5,5-tetramethyl-1,3,2-dioxaborolan-2-yl)-2,3-dihydro-1H-inden-1-one and (4-bromo-3,5-dimethylphenyl)trimethylsilane following a procedure analogous to that described in Step 5 of Intermediate 1. LC (method 8): tR=0.89 min; Mass spectrum (ESI+): m/z=327 [M+H]+.
