The title compound is prepared from 4-bromo-3,5-dimethylphenol and 1,6-dioxaspiro[2.5]octane following a procedure analogous to that described in Step 3 of Intermediate 2. LC (method 7): tR=1.04 min; Mass spectrum (ESI−): m/z=313 [M−H]−.
