The mixture of crude 4-chloro-3-(1,7-dihydro-1,2,5,7-tetraaza-s-indacen-6-yl)-1H-pyridin-2-one hydrochloric acid salt (80 mg, 0.25 mmol), (S)-2-amino-1-(3-chloro-phenyl)-ethanol hydrochloric acid salt (80 mg, 0.38 mmol), N-methyl morpholine (0.5 ml, excess), and acetonitrile (15 mL) was heated to 80° C. overnight and cooled to room temperature. After concentration in vacuo, the residue was purified by prep. HPLC to yield the titled compound (64 mg, 61%). 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD) δ 8.16 (s, 1H), 7.90 (s, 1H), 7.62 (s, 1H), 7.59 (s, 1H), 7.54 (s, 1H), 7.27-7.41 (m, 4H), 6.21 (d, J=7.6 Hz, 1H), 4.99 (m, 1H), 3.60-3.71 (m, 2H). LCMS (t=1.44 min), [M+H]+ 421.
