tert-Butyl 4-(3-(2-fluorophenyl)-2-oxoimidazolidin-1-yl)piperidine-1-carboxylate (235 mg, 0.647 mmol) was dissolved in ethyl acetate (3.0 mL). 2N Hydrogen chloride in diethyl ether (5.0 mL, 10.00 mmol) was added to the mixture. Reaction stirred at room temperature for 22 hours. Solids were filtered off, washed with diethyl ether and then dried in vacuo. Title compound was obtained as white solid in 52% yield. MS (M+H)+=264.1.
