Reaction Steps
The compound (0.70 g) obtained in Example 10 was treated with 20% ethanolic hydrochloric acid to give 0.72 g of (±)-3'-(2-amino-1-hydroxyethyl)-5'-fluoromethanesulfonanilide hydrochloride. M.p. 183°-186° C.
