Reaction Steps
A mixture of 0.7 g of the compound from Step B and 0.41 g of 4-chlorophenyl isothiocyanate were combined in a solvent mixture of 2 mL methylene chloride and 5 mL ether. After stirring overnight the precipitated solids were filtered and dried to afford 0.69 g of the title compound as a white solid, mp 208°-210° C.
